If Suzie can do it with MBT you can too. Yes, YOU! (No, we're not yelling. We just really believe in what we do.)

My story started out like so many others who were riding the weight loss roller coaster. I wanted desperately to lose weight and get into shape, but I would run out of steam very quickly and often felt like a hamster running on a wheel. I always felt that I had to choose between my sanity and being in shape – somehow they were not mutually exclusive!

Since I was always a very determined person, I did give some programs a try – I did Body for Life for 3 months but was disappointed with the results. I did Atkins for all of 3 days (I need my carbs), and I tried Paleo for a couple of months, but I couldn’t seem to stay away from grains. I was a Weight Watchers enthusiast for a few years, but all of that counting just made me preoccupied with food. I felt like a slave to the points (and to the scale) and spent way too much time in my head trying to manipulate my food choices. It only played into my obsession with food, and it made me feel out of control and hopeless. I held myself to impossible standards and fell into the trap of perfectionism – even when I had a good week, I could never allow myself to fully enjoy it. If I ate too much or used up all of my points (which happened quite often), the only source of redemption was to literally do the “walk of shame” on the treadmill, which of course, led me to a love/hate relationship with exercise.

A few years ago, after speaking with a friend who worked in the nutrition field, I decided to part ways with dieting and eat more intuitively. While this gave me much relief from the arduous task of counting points and helped me stabilize my weight, it didn’t do much for getting me in better shape. At this point in time, I knew in my heart of hearts that I really wanted to go after my weight loss goals but could not go back to dieting. I needed something that could help me lose weight in a way that was sustainable. And so my epic google search began…

I stumbled on MBT’s website one night, and I have to say that although I don’t believe in a perfect Law of Attraction, I do believe in synchronicity. I read the success stories and all about Adam’s approach to weight loss, and I was very impressed, not to mention intrigued. I had some fears and doubts, as most people do when they embark on something new, but I figured I had nothing to lose at this point. Besides, I would get my money back in 30 days if it didn’t work out. I reached out to Adam, and based on his responses to my questions, I felt pretty good about joining – and I never looked back!

My coach was very supportive and allowed me to go at a pace that worked for me. Her suggestions were helpful in getting me to make slow and steady changes, ones that were easy to keep up with. I wasn’t sure that was going to work (at first), but I kept an open mind, and I was amazed at the results. My weight loss was slow in the beginning, but I couldn’t believe that the closer I got to my goal, the easier it was for my body to let go. My eating and exercise habits are second nature to me now, and it truly is a part of my lifestyle. Whether I’m stressed out, tired or in a room full of people, I’m still capable of making the best possible choices for me.

The daily accountability and support I received really helped me to work with my body instead of against it. I feel so much better in my own skin, I eat better than I ever have, and I am more active than I have ever been. When I do have a worthwhile indulgence, I enjoy it without any guilt.

One of the greatest things about MBT is that I was able to apply the mindfulness techniques to other areas in my life. I developed the confidence to leave a high stress job and was able to find one that was less stressful at a higher paying salary. I have also been able to budget my finances better and put more money into my savings account.

I’ve been able to find more balance and middle ground instead of swinging from one extreme to the next. I now believe it doesn’t have to be ALL or NOTHING! There are more than (2) options in life, and I’m looking forward to exploring what those are. I just turned 40, and instead of dreading it, I welcomed it with open arms. I’m in the best shape of my life, and I feel like I’m in my prime.

I am beyond amazed and so proud that I was able to shed 47 pounds. It’s nice to know that when I put my bucket list together for 2019, getting in better shape won’t be on it. I can actually focus on doing something else (like finally taking that trip to Tuscany).

What did you say to yourself as you were reading Suzie's story?

It's fascinating when we start to notice our own behavior. Typically, we distance ourselves from that person.

We find something they have that we don't. We make them into something other than an ordinary, regular person. Then, we create an excuse for why we can't achieve the same level of success.

The most important thing to realize: Whatever anyone else has done or become, you can do or become as well, with the right support, guidance and accountability.

Here's the best part: I guarantee it or your money back. I sincerely believe in what we offer that much. I know MBT will be the last program you ever do or need.
