I don’t eat this way because I’m afraid if I don’t I’ll gain weight. I eat this way because it makes my whole life better.

If Lisa can do it with MBT you can too. Yes, YOU! (No, we're not yelling. We just really believe in what we do.)
It feels like I’ve struggled with food and my weight my entire life. In grade school I felt fat compared to other girls, but when I look at photos from that time in my life, I see a little girl who was just normal, neither fat nor thin. I’m not sure where those judgments of myself came from, but I was obsessed with getting thin for most of my life.
I joke that I dieted my way UP, rather than down. Food was the enemy and every bite I took made me feel guilty, and that led to feelings of deprivation, and my response to that was to eat. I didn’t go up and down like a lot of yo-yo dieters. I slowly went up and then stayed there for several years, and then clawed my way back down. And when I got my weight down, staying there was a day-to-day struggle that I would eventually lose.
The last time my weight started to climb, I happened to be reading Gretchen Rubin’s book, Better Than Before, and she talked about how a system of accountability is very helpful when it comes to sticking to dieting and fitness goals, and she mentioned My Body Tutor as a way to do that.
I checked out the website for My Body Tutor, and read the success stories and decided maybe the program could help me finally change my relationship with food.
I’ve lost 15 pounds with My Body Tutor and I’m thrilled. My tutor and she’s been an amazing resource for me. She’s been a cheerleader not only on my food and exercise journey, but in all facets of my life. She helped me learn to be patient with myself, and taught me that when I have cravings, it’s not the food – there’s something else going on.
Through My Body Tutor I’ve ditched the “all or nothing” mindset. The “I ate something I shouldn’t have, so the whole day is ruined, I’ll start again tomorrow” thinking. I’m not on a diet. I eat food that works well with my body and gives me energy and focus. I don’t eat this way because I’m afraid if I don’t I’ll gain weight. I eat this way because it makes my whole life better. And I love to move. I walk, I lift weights, I do intervals on the treadmill, and it makes me feel good.
I think anyone who’s struggling in their relationship with food and their body would benefit from My Body Tutor. The accountability and support are invaluable. You’ll be surprised at how many areas of your life are impacted and improved by the lessons you learn. I can’t recommend it enough!
What did you say to yourself as you were reading Lisa's story?
It's fascinating when we start to notice our own behavior. Typically, we distance ourselves from that person.
We find something they have that we don't. We make them into something other than an ordinary, regular person. Then, we create an excuse for why we can't achieve the same level of success.
The most important thing to realize: Whatever anyone else has done or become, you can do or become as well, with the right support, guidance and accountability.
Here's the best part: I guarantee it or your money back. I sincerely believe in what we offer that much. I know MBT will be the last program you ever do or need.

The real game changer with MyBodyTutor was the weekly one-on-one accountability. Sometimes I didn't like being pushed to change, but it was exactly what I needed to stay on track.

My new relationship with food and what it meant to eat when hungry and stop when satisfied (not full) led me to lose almost 20 pounds before adding any exercise.
